Île-aux-Coudres === CTA3 === Québec Short Hops

Île-aux-Coudres is situated in the middle of the St.Lawrence river 55 nm downstream from Québec Int`l airport. The region is superb as you will notice if you have the suggested mesh.

The scenery works fine in FS2004. Depending if you are using any mesh or not, it could make a difference but nothing to make a fuss about or prevent you from enjoying this scenery.

I have added a text "About Ile-aux-Coudres". It is short and real informative. If you are too anxious to read it, at least look at the picts.

Having a ball since I started to make my own macros. Notice the windmill, church and others are quite like the real ones. I had to improvise on the lighthouses as I do not even know if there are any there. Also,the items are not placed in their exact location. I had to compose with the limits of the programs at hand, namely Microsoft`s default and the information I could find on the internet.

There is a river not showing which prevented me from doing the "Leclerc water mill" since the river that makes it run does not exist in my FS. The airport shown in FS is not at all like the real one. Tried to change one of those before but ended up in too much trouble.

Anyway, the idea is to make it look nice and have lots of fun.

==================================

I wish to thank John de Langristin for the beetle and the old car that I used to make my yellow. blue and red versions. I thank also Jordan Moore for his farm animals and also Jim Jackson (Northern Exposure) for his picnic tables and campfire. I thank Larry Farmer for his nice trees and Mobil gas pump, Lauren Robison for the use of some of her sounds. Thanks also to Tom Fica for his nice trucks and old fuel barrels.

I must not forget Tom Hiscox and Brian McWilliams for the program and textures "Airport for Windows" and also Matthias Brückner for the program EOD which I used to make my macros.

I also owe big thanks to Jerry Kemp, Bob Arthur and Tom Constantine for testing the beta versions of this scenery.

I hope I did not forget anyone. If so, I am deeply sorry and please send me a note.

I have added a copy of Quebec Short Hops 1 Read Me in case you need to refer to it.
